LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Program Summary
This interactive leadership course is designed for managers and leaders who want to establish energetic and exciting relations with their followers. Workplace enthusiasm is an organizational need, particularly felt since the outbreak of the pandemic. The program relies on many years of research into leader influence on followers’ motivation and inspiration to achieve a common goal. The program narrows down the complexity of modern leadership approaches to one common underlying theme: Compassionate leaders create enthusiastic followers by identifying their followers’ needs and articulating a vision and goals to meet those needs. To experience such follower-centric leadership, the participants will complete a leadership project, in which they will (1) identify follower needs, (2) propose goals based on those needs (3) implement initial steps to achieve those goals, (4), report associated emotions, follower commitment, and satisfaction, and (5) present their leadership projects at the end of the program. The program represents İstanbul Bilgi University’s institutional identity to enhance societal and corporate welfare.

White-collar employees in managerial roles.
Program Details
o 10-week program, including six Saturdays, face-to-face group sessions between 09:00-16:00. Lunch break (12:00-13:00) and 15-minute coffee breaks will be included.

o Two 45-minute individual coaching sessions implemented on the 3rd or 5th and 7th or 9th week, depending on participants’ preferences.
o Weekly homework completed online.
o Completion of a leadership project.
o Project presentations at the closing session.

Language
o Course instruction will be in English; Turkish will be used when necessary.
o Coaching sessions can be conducted in both Turkish and English.

At the end of the training, the participants will receive a “Certificate of Achievement” approved by İstanbul Bilgi University and BİLGİ Education.
